Do you still have the door panels for the 1970 XR7 with manual windows. I would need to dye them medium blue so I’m hoping you have either green or saddle available? Please let me know thanks I do still have those panels available. I am working with another member though on some of the saddle ones....

I'm not familiar enough with the Cougars, but the map light in 69/70 Mustangs are separate harnesses that plug into the clock harness. They are not reproduced and fairly rare. I think that you will find that the 69-70 XR7 map light wiring is a part of the under dash harness. The 69-70 XR7 map light...

From the factory a standard 69-70 Cougar ordered with the clock option would have the clock in the empty gauge pod beside the speedometer.

Does your car have the tilt away style steering column? If it does the column must be back into the locked position for the car to start.

Curious why the one I received today doesn’t fit? I assume my fill tube is stock and the one I received isn’t a G40 then or mislabeled? Have you looked closely at the cap to see if it is stamped with the G40 number? I do not know if they are marked or not but it is worth a look. Randy Goodling CCOA...
