My buddy is searching for the above car, in red. Nicest unmolested example preferred, others considered.

I think they are cool cars. Mom bought a brand new Maverick in '71/'72.

I'll be on the lookout.

Thanks guys. This friend had one in HS/college, wrecked it, rebuilt it & wrecked it again.

Now that he's nearing retirement age, he wants that blast from the past.

Chris, I have a 1971 Grabber Factory Yellow car. It is a project car, but solid. Bucket seats and rare center console. Original engine - it is a 250 6 cylinder. Automatic floor shift. Was running, but hasn't been started in a while now. 8 inch rear end with 5 lugs. I have collected quite a few parts for restoration, but will sell it all for $2500. Thanks, Scott

Thanks Scott, it sounds like a neat car. I will let him know, but I think initially he wanted something turn-key (he's 60 & not a car guy).
