Get my block back Friday

Make your Cougar run faster, handle better, and jump higher... okay maybe not jump higher. If you feel the need for speed, this is the place.

Get my block back Friday

It took some time, but I finally get my 390 block back on Friday all ready to rock and roll. Bored +20, crank -10, got myself some new flat top pistons that will be making about 10.5:1 compression, and a cam on the way. The heads should follow pretty shortly after. Pretty excited to start building my first engine. Hopefully the funds will line up and it will be ready to put in the car by summer.

Do you have Barry Rabotnic's FE book? Or Jay Brown's Great FE Intake Comparo? Both are very good.

I don't, the machinist I've been working with has been feeding me suggestions on parts and such. He really knows his stuff, and is responsible for several screaming fe motors. So I've been just kinda following his lead. Intake is the last major part I need.....but my inner cheapskate isn't letting me buy one. I haven't paid full price for a part on this build yet.......Why start now?
