Free 70 Cougar parts

IF there was ever any doubt that this is a real community, get this: Don Rush of West Coast Classic Cougars asked for a forum where he could GIVE stuff away: FREE! And you know, there is a lot of stuff floating around that I think we would all like to see go to a good home rather than to the land fill. I know that my garage contains a few items that I would like to find a new home. So post your FREE stuff here!

Free 70 Cougar parts

Post by fordnutz » 15 Apr 2013, 14:11

I received the following e-mail from a gentleman in Pilot Butte, Saskatchewan, Canada (which is just West of Regina).
Contact him directly through his e-mail address listed below.

Free Cougar Parts

I had started to restore a 1970 cougar but found that the frame/body were too far gone to continue. I have a bunch of parts that are good and some of them I am prepared to give away because I am moving and won’t have room for them at my new place. I will give away the hood, trunk, passenger door (driver door isn’t worth getting for free), bumpers, dash (no cracks), passenger seat (no tears or wear). I also have really good door panels and back seat parts and will give them away.
If I can’t find someone willing to take this stuff by Friday, I will likely have to send most of it to the dump.
I hate to see it not get used, but just can’t store it anymore. If you could pass this on to your members, maybe there is someone that would be interested.

Yikes! Not the dump!

...I'll probably go broke with shipping from the east coast :-/

*I emailed him and he thinks he has someone coming by tomorrow to take it all.
