Walking Cat File?

#1

Post by 1969XR7Vert » 06 Jan 2014, 09:13

I need a black and white (grey scale) walking cat image file for another decal (Ram Air air cleaner decal) I am endeavoring to make. Does anyone have something they could share?

Thanks,

Bob

Justin's image is not quite what I am looking for. PM'ed Bill B. regarding the CCC walking cat, it is the type of image I am looking for but is to low res to be blown up properly. Still looking for anyone having a BW image similar to the CCC walking cat.

Thanks.

How 'bout this one:

BTW, I think electronic ignition is pointless.

We don't own the rights to the one we are using. (we did get permission to use it)

Here is where you want to go: http://propaynegraphics.com/ This is Phillip (propayne) on the board. I am sure that he can help you.

I've been out of town and out of touch (in more ways than one!) for a few days and just now saw this thread.

Bob and I are in contact and I will fix him up.

What Bill is referring to is the color "walking cat" graphic used at the top of this page.

Years and years ago in the pre-desk top publishing days I recreated a lot of the old Mercury Cougar logos the old fashioned way - by hand, including the cat logo. I inked that puppy up using my old Rapidograph mechanical pens and a set of French Curves. Ahhh, the old days...

When then CCOA President Scott Ferguson asked me to update the club logo I scanned my inking, cleaned it up, converted it to vector and added some color and then designed the logo. The CCOA finally got a website up with the logo and I always notice when people grab "my" walking cat off the internet and use it on their websites, business cards, etc.

I obviously don't own the rights to that logo and have absolutely no problem with people like Bill using the version created by me for ventures like this website that benefit the Cougar Community.

I love helping out the Classic Cougar Community whenever I get the chance and I have the time. I have "donated" my services (my time) dozens of times designing t-shirts for the CCOA, our local DCC and my buds over at the CCNJ/PA. My only requirement is that I have fun and that I have the time available that is necessary.

I'm not too thrilled when people appropriate my artwork without my permission for money making ventures but it happens.

If anyone is curious, please poke around my website and my Facebook page and look for my Cougar related work.
