Fender extensions

Another paint question for 69. Where the fender extensions gaskets for the front and rear painted over at the factory or not.

No paint on the rubber. Look at KTL Restorations facebook site for pics on how to paint extensions.

Jeff, if your car is a metallic color you should paint them mounted to the fenders/ and quarter panels. I place several washer on the mounting stud and install them. so you end up with a gap between the extension and the panel. by doing this your color match is spot on!! Them remove and install your rubber and trim.
