A 1968 Cougar was being used in the latest episode(right before finale) of "Into the Badlands" on AMC. It was featured throughout. Tomorrow is a marathon leading up to the the finale. Catch it, if you can.

Saw this 68 in the movie Star Kid during the junk yard fight scene. Unfortunately the car stack tumbled during the scene and the cougar didn't fair well....thanks Hollywood.

Damn, that sucks! That looks like it might have been a fairly solid Cougar!

I recently watched 2 episodes of Kojak. Remember that show? In the first one the bad guys made their getaway in a 1969 XR-7. Turns out they stole the car. In the second episode the bad guy regularly drove a 1973 XR-7 convertible. It's fun watching those old 70s shows just to see the cars.

I haven't watched the show in a long time, glad they didn't get their hands on this for "their mods" but ran across this vid.

I lost respect for FantomWorks last night, I used to like their work until they molested the cougar and raped the owner. Kindiit is the only one raising the bar.IMO
Do we know the unfortunate soul who's cat was mauled?

Wow we went far back on that quote :poke: I remember said show but not the details. I think kin digit would have put an LS motor in it if it was there :o I got stuck watching texas metal the other nite, was like a train wreck, I couldn't look away. Brand new 2018 camaro, denali, and denali pickup, little voice in my head just kept saying the phrase from apocalypse now, the horror the horror....But I know the shows priorities are for entertainment purposes not necessarily educational.
I remember this site/old site someone posted an overhauling comment on a cougar redo and a lot of negative comments followed. Owner was actually a member and posted that while not a concourse build the work that was completed was more than he could have ever done himself and was just excited to be driving his car again.
Although I scoff at most of the reality tv car stuff some of the metal work/fab using the old hand tools and the upholstery stuff impresses me, and yes I can do neither :smoke:
