Took Esmerelda to the Nashville Cars and Coffee. Got to meet up with David (pellets4fuel) as he was in town for a graduation.
Nice meeting one of the Classicougarcommunity.com folks in person.
Hoping to see his Cougar one day.

Today at the "Big Rock car show in Duvall WA, I found a young lady dressed in the true 70's look and she was willing to pose for some pictures.

Today I took the Blue 71 XR-7 to a gathering at a local Brew Pub an=bout 3 miles from my house. They had live Music but not many cars.

I then took the 71 home and picked up Ginger and drove her down to teh Dairy Queen on teh Bothel Everett Highway south of Mill Creek aWA where I met up with Dave Nashif with his 68 Cougar.

Today at the Graffiti Car Show in Greenville, IL. We got a top 50 plaque. Very nice considering there were 130 cars at the show. :)

I did a quick up and back trip on Saturday.

I put plain copper plugs in the Subaru and got 26 mpg up from 23 at 75 mph from the Bay Area over Donner Summit. 28 mpg on the way back. I’m done with fancy spark plugs

Took the Colonel out for a 45 minute ride. Fired right after a few cranks to get fuel to the carb.

6 more months and I can spend more time full time!

Finished putting new front suspension in Saturday. 80 and sunny today, a perfect day to drop the top and test the work. It was great to be on back winding roads with a freshly responsive handle. Just a great day!

I took mine to the end of the driveway yesterday to take a couple of pictures:

I know it wasn't very far, but it's the first time in about 15 years it's moved under it's own power. I've still got work to get it road worthy, but getting it to move under it's own power was a pretty big step.

Great job Steve68Cougar^

Took mine out to help my Uncle unload his Factory Five 35 Ford truck kit Friday, to ice cream with my boys and their cousin from Texas then a Woodward blast Saturday, and to Bakers in Milford for a car show yesterday where I saw another Cougar (white 1968). Enjoyed some beautiful Michigan summer weather with the top down.
