67 walking cougar floor mats

#1

Post by pellets4fuel » 24 Jun 2018, 09:13

Looking for a good used set of walking cat floor mats. Don't know if they ever did these in dark green like JCC is reproducing now. That would be my preferred color. Otherwise black would be fine. I actually have a so-so passengers side one so if you just had drivers and rear could make it work.
Thanks!

I have an original set of dark green mats in my GT-E so I know that they were made. As you may or may not know these colored floor mats were never original in 1967 - 68 when only black mats were available. The colored mats have later part numbers.

I am pretty sure that I know someone who has an NOS set of dark green mats. I do not know the asking price. If you are interested I can provide you with the contact information.

Wow seriously? I bought a set of white mats that came in a D2WA box. Does that part number appear on the mat?

Randy Goodling,
If they are NOS I imagine the price would be a little more than I might want to spend. Maybe though.
Been looking all over in my parts and I also seem to be missing one of my rear seat belts with the male end (in dark green)
Pretty sure I got the complete set with the retractors from you sometime back.
I'm thinking it was laying loose in a box that I might have pitched on the burn pile :(
Royce, are there pics of your model Ts anywhere to view? Keep meaning to ask you that. :)

Thanks for sharing the links Royce. It is nice to see T's as T's rather they Hot Rods.
I took this picture of a very nice Model A last weekend. We also don't get to see very many like this.

In the 90's I came across a cache of NOS white and green mats in the Ford box with a D4WY part #. The green was lighter than you would have seen in 67-9. I still see these sets of two pop up once in awhile. Between 1993-1999 I sold at least 75 pairs all in the Ford box. You could in fact get several colors in 67 as a set.
