I hope you can hookup with Lone Star Cougar Club. They work well with Mid America Classic Cougars out of Tulsa. Dan brought his beautiful 68 to the Daryl Starbird show. We hope to put 40+ Cougars in next years. This one would fit right in!!

Love the car. Nordic Blue is a great color. I think it would look better with a black top. But I'd understand wanting to keep it the way it was build, assuming the car is still in concours condition.

For wheels, 14 x 6 styled steel with black outers and brushed chrome trim rings - just the way it would have been in 1968.

Which wheel do you like best? The new owner (also Jim) was having difficulty choosing so I mounted up both yesterday.

I really like the passenger side set. They just look subtly different and sharp!

So far everyone who has seen it except my wife have said the same. She said they were "Too fancy for a stock looking car". The choices are 10 spoke Shelby inspired GT6 wheel or five spoke Magstar Shelby inspired wheel.

Just pm'd Don that I'm liking the 10 spoke. And, yes, my new Lone Star Cougar Club--and Mid America--friends will be seeing her soon!

Putting the Magstars on my yellow 68 XR-7. Will be picking it up today with the new kicks and front end alignment.

I have a set here with rubber mounted since Jim has chosen the 10 spokes.
