Re: Low Fuel Sending Unit rebuilding service

Send it along maybe I can bring it back to life. I have found a few odd things. The wire resistors are really pretty delicate but can be saved if there's enough left to work with.

Re: Low Fuel Sending Unit rebuilding service

What can you do about a reproduction stainless steel sender with working low fuel but highly inaccurate readings? I'd rather have this one working than install a metermatch box.... Considering everything you have done for the Cougar community, send it to me and let me see what I can do. I suspect t...

Low Fuel Sending Unit rebuilding service

This is for the purists... $125 800|486|2019|4951.jpg You send your rebuild-able core and one week later you get back a blasted clean, calibrated, and completely functional sending unit. Includes new reproduction filter sock, brass float, square cut o-ring gasket and best of all, a new thermistor to...

It sure seems reasonable that the new parts you have bought would solve the problem, but obviously they didn't or you wouldn't be h...

Re: Won't run

The April 2019 Ride of the Month is DieselD's '68 Standard Resto Mod!

Editors note: For me, when this site is at its best, it reminds me of hanging out in the garage listening to stories of shared experiences most always about our passion for Cougars and pretty much anything automotive. This month DieselD shares his story in his words. So pull up a shop stool, grab a ...

Re: magazine

It’d be a real shame, but completely understandable, if that was the end. Will issue 4, volume 3, ever be available from Amazon? This is part of our problem. Amazon discontinued CreateSpace and put us on the Kindle platform. Now they won't accept our files. I am trying to figure out what to change ...
