Re: Possible Eliminator in MD

At $19k? I’m still learning but it looks like $20k worth of work needing to be done just to get it in respectable driver condition and we aren’t seeing the real issues (rust). Am I way off?

Re: WTB '69 hardtop

I am looking as well with similar criteria. Where in eastern PA are you? I am in the Philly area.

PM me if you want and I can tell you what I am looking for and we can keep an eye out for each other. Good luck with your search!

Re: 2019 Carlisle Ford Nationals

Hi - slightly off topic... are these Carlisle shows a good place to find cars for sale (outside of auction)? I have never been to a car show so complete newbie. I am hunting Cougar and wondering if this could be a place to bag one :)
Thanks

Re: Eliminators on the Market (January 2019)

Testing my newbie knowledge... this interior shot leads me to think not authentic Eliminator. Would I be correct? I asked seller for Matri but no response yet. I can't give you what the Marti report would say, but I see 69 high back seats. The dash bezels may not be correct, but it is hard to tell ...

Re: CL '70 Eliminator and potential 428 '69 Eliminator

The 69 has XR-7 door panels and seats so those have been replaced. The CJ 428 decals look like the ones used on the 69 Cyclone Spoilers. Still a car worth bringing back. Does anyone else think that the ELIMINATOR lettering looks too big on the orange 70? Randy Goodling CCOA #95 Yes, they are not su...

Re: Repainting after repairs - spots not whole car

Yep, trying to find cars with limited rust showing, knowing that a ton more lies beneath. I would be learning as I go with the painting. So where does one get original paint to apply and can you get it in cans or should I plan on having to use an air sprayer? If there is a thread on "how to paint" o...
