Re: What is wrong with the pictures

The shock tower braces look North American. If it was exported it should be one piece attached to the fire wall (export brace). The original export braces, as well as reproductions the steel is wavy - missing technical term. The ones on the car look like original flat two piece...maybe used car expo...

Have used the Eastwood stuff, it’s good. I like evaporust because it’s biodegradable.

I’m glad too, missed the original discussion completely. But maybe someone realized colored lights on hide-a-ways wasn’t the smartest product line?

Anyone have experience with this? Their website is all about rust products, but this specific product seems to be a POR competitor

Re: Primer and seam sealer

Don't think you'll find that seam sealer is going to stick very well to the POR very well. Use the POR a couple of times - would never use it again on anything but a rusty work truck. Just my opinion I used it on a rusty work truck, please don’t make the same mistake. :naughty: Rust continued until...

Re: Rust of floor pan

Probably time to go poking with an awl in all the usual spots. POR15 allegedly bonds with rust and stops it. My experience is if moisture gets between it and metal, it traps the moisture under it and allows rust to expand exponentially. Where you don’t know how many pinholes... I’d be cutting and re...
