Buying, maintaining and holding old cars with the idea of them being an investment long term is not usually a sound financial plan. It works out for a very select few, no doubt but in the end when I am called to liquidate an estate, usually the family and I agree that Grandpas hobby ended up getting...

Sounds like it fell into the right hands. What a fun car! You will never in your life park next to one like it and the beauty of the condition is you can poke at it as little or much as you like and drive it as is without worry of a rock chip.

Slapping a young lady upside the head with a pair of gloves for the wrong answer, wow... Think how that would go over today. Notice most of the digs they made against the Cougar were addressed in the 71 Cougar. I would take a 70 Challenger over a 70 Cougar in many scenarios.

What a sleeper and 100% original with no hot rod parts. I would even keep the hubcaps as is if it were mine. That will be a fun one to spruce up, congrats!

I too could not sit through the entire video but look how many hits it has got in one day! My video has been up for years and has 41k hits, his has been up for a day and has thousands more. Guess I just work on charisma a little.

oops... They bought their wheels from other than WCCC which means no stainless inserts. Still a very sharp car that looks like a decent buy at that price.
