Re: Advice - Close to overheating

All you have to do is braze weld an old penny (pre 1981?) to the existing piece and drill a tiny air hole in the penny.

Re: 1968 Car and Driver Readers Choice Poll - Cougar voted "Best Sporty Car" - Decal

Cool Andrew! I will most definitely be purchasing a couple of those. I believe my G came originally from the dealer with one of those decals - it was built May 6th. Attached is a photo of the remnants of it on my car plus a pic of an original one I have in my files. So you were able to have them pr...

Re: 1968 Car and Driver Readers Choice Poll - Cougar voted "Best Sporty Car" - Decal

Definitely made by Ford but the question I have was were they put on by dealers in some cases on older stock that was built prior to the vote? Or were they only put on cars built in May 68 and after at the factory? Whats the build date on your 68 equipped with this decal, anyone?

1967 styled steel wheels for sale set of four

Fair condition, tires are older and mismatched. Prefer to sell them to someone locally. $450 if you want a 5th wheel for the spare I have it for an additional $100. These will work on a 68 if it is drum all the way around or if you use spaces on the front with disc brakes. 51895AB1-85F5-49AE-B189-5E...

Wanted! Need 67 or 68 PS Green leather buck seat

Looking for an original passenger side Dark Ivy Gold (green) used seat so I can fix my driver side seat. Interior is 100% original except for the visor tips so I am really trying to keep it authentic. Of course I will take a good driver seat but for the panel I need, the chances are I am more likely...

Re: mecum

I bought that car in apr 2006 on ebay for $30,000.01. It was an AZ car and I was able to speak to the original owner. Lots of documentation, unrestored with an older decent repaint (no pinstripes, not show quality). The interior was 100% original and yes the seats were tired (dry). I sold it to the ...

Don, was that Tim B's CJ vert? He gave me first right of refusal at $40k and I just couldn't come up with the $$$. I sure wanted that car!! I was so appreciative of him offering it up to me first because I knew the car was worth it.
Yes, thats the one...
