When this one gets finished, does it bring the total to 4, of done show cars?
Phil and John's cars are finished, Stuart's has always been a driver.
Scott,

Are you talking just 1968?

Are there any non GTE show cars that are also "done"?

Re: 1969 Q code 1 of 1.

Well I have to go with documentation over my old stories any day Jeff! It looks to me that Cougars were going to ASC in '69. Documentation always trumps anything else. I will also disagree. My non-Eliminator standard sunroof car with vinyl roof was shipped to ASC to have the sunroof installed. See ...

Re: 1969 Q code 1 of 1.

During 1969 - 73 Ford / Mercury had the tooling to install sunroofs at the factory in Dearborn so it would not have gone to ASC for the sunroof, as the sunroof was at that time a factory option. A very rare one! There were a number of 1969 Eliminators with the factory sunroof as part of an order fr...

Re: 1969 Standard Cougar question - instrument panel

Does anyone have a 1969 Standard factory 4 speed Cougar (any engine)....here's the question- I assume that the instrument cluster had the tach in the 3rd pod (like my 70 Boss 302 does) ? I have noticed in the 69 sales literature I have that if you ordered the optional clock (not XR-7) it came in th...

Re: Eliminators on the Market (January 2019)

Ok this dumb question is there supposed to be a cougar emblem on the trunk lid of a 69 or 70 eliminator? Mine does not have one. Maybe. There seems to be no good consistant answer to that question. Some cars had one, some didn't. I believe all standards, including Eliminators were supposed to recei...

Neal is correct the '69 was produced too early to be an Eliminator.

Glad they managed to keep everyone hanging for the 2020 GT500. Catalog stated approximately 8:30. It's now 10 and nothing....... disappointing.
That would be 8:30 Phoenix time, which equates to 10:30 Taxachussetts time.
