I may have some pretty interesting news about this car as early as tomorrow, trying to get it sorted out now. No it doesn't have to do with it being ready to run, not quite there yet. I don't want to say much at this point in case it turns out to be nothing. Stay tuned.

To my knowledge if it wasn’t drilled you need to run solid lifters. Farrand would know.

I could have sworn I replied to this inquiry yesterday, but go figure ....no reply shows up. So .....here goes again .....the 427 GT-E had a phenolic spacer, two carb gaskets along with the stainless steel "gasket" like device you mention.
