Re: Ford intake manifold collection.

I’d take no. 7 if you could figure out how to get it in a flat rate box.

Now you get the pleasure of saying for years "I should have never sold it" and hunting it down, rediscovering it and falling in love with ownership all over again.
I wish somebody would have knocked some sense into me before I sold mine.
Pretty sure we tried.

Re: 68 XR7 interior refresh Part - 2

Don't give up just yet on the vinyl woodgrain overlays. WCCC is working on a better pattern that is actually based on the original stuff. Not sure when they'll be available for purchase, but we have samples in hand and it looks very good. Here's a sneak peek: DSC00066-1028.jpg Critter Creek Cougars...

I got a set done for $400 but that was awhile ago. Paul’s Chrome wanted $1200 at the time.

Re: Did I miss the January auction stats?

No best go ahead and jump now. :D I think overall the market for collectible cars seems pretty strong. I do have some of the same concerns you do however about the future state. There's already getting to be a shortage of guys that know their craft well enough to keep this hobby alive and well. I ca...

Re: 68 XR7 interior refresh Part - 2

If you’re looking for correct wood grain decals there are none. Critter Creek Cougars will vacuum plate the bezels for you, but he’s extremely expensive IMO. I have a place bookmarked on my office computer that seemed reasonable, but I haven’t used them so I can’t vouch for the work. If you like I’l...

Whether it's 100% correct or not, I like the Trim Black. Nice rich smooth black that contrasts well with chrome.

I agree Andrew, it looks nice on everything I’ve seen it on. But sometimes being correct is the criteria.

Re: GRILLE AND BEZEL PAINTING

I’ve been working on some of these parts recently. I think I agree with Royce’s assessment that SEM Trim Black is a bit too matte. I bought some SEM Black semi-gloss but I’m not sure yet whether I’m happy with that choice. It seems like what would be most correct is something in between.

Bill, do you reproduce the C8OE-B fan ?
Yes I’m pretty sure that’s the one he was referring to.
