Full VIN number is stamped on both shock tower aprons
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I didn't think the VIN Number was stamped anywhere else on 1969 Cougars.
Common places should be Dash,Door& Buck Tags
Where is it stamped on the shock tower aprons?

Re: Credit Card breach at WCCC??!!

If a business accepts it, I use PayPal Credit a lot of times. Saves the headache of using the credit card.

Rocker Panel Moulding Clips

Greetings Folks, Can someone help clarify for me the mounting clips used on a 1969 XR7 Convertible for the rocker panel moldings? I know they were mounted with no visible screws, except for the sport special which used 1 screw. My question is, were the front and rear metal clips (with the spring wir...

Re: Parking Brake Switch Mounting Location

If this is for a '69, I'll snap a photo of it for you when I get back home. I'm currently in Texas
Probably early next week.

Re: 69 & 70 Dearborn undercarriage restoration help/guide

Thanks very much for posting/making this available Jeff. I will probably never get my car to that level of detail, but you never know!
I will use it however to review my car and see how things match up based on what you have put together.

Convertible Top Fuse?

Hello All, Doing some investigating today. Was the convertible top on a '69 fuse protected in any way? I've been looking at the wiring diagrams and the only thing I see is what's called a 'Fuse Link' where the top control wiring attaches to the starter solenoid for the power. Can someone explain to ...

Engine Wiring Harness Question

Question for those in the know, Was it common practice to wrap a harness within a harness? I have power windows in this car and the harness for the window safety relay (2wires) is wrapped by itself and then is part of the speed control wiring and wrapped within that wiring. The power feed for the co...
