Re: 1969 428 CJ ELIMINATOR Fantasy Bid / ebay auction

Both bidder #1 and #2 wanted the car at $51.5K so that makes Neal the winner. That being said, the seller did not know the car needed a title. He shipped me the car from Australia and I just assumed he had a title. He said he has never got a title on any of the many classic cars he has imported to ...

Don't worry Brian. I'm going to ship my 428 XR7 convertible over next year as it won't get the care and restoration...

Re: Adjusting speed of electric headlight doors and tension

There is a kit with speed adjustable doors. I have it on the 69 but it only appears to adjust speed on closing. The original TCCN design had lengthened arms on the motor so it didn't over run the doors on opening

Re: Halogen headlight Conversion

I have Bob's relay set up in my 68. They work fine unless you run 4 x 165W globes in high beams as they exceed the internal safety circuit Bob has built into the units and the headlight doors will close. I dropped globes to 2 x 95W and 2 x 120W and they work OK.
